I love type and often incorporate it in some form into my illustrations. My interest in typography led me to undertake a course on traditional sign writing during the Covid lockdown. Since then I have dabbled with it and undertaken a few commissions. I particularly like to create the illusion of three dimensional letters with bevels and shadows.
